For the conference participants, an excursion was organized to the unique Sevastopol Konstantinovskaya Battery open-air museum, in the casemates of which a historical exposition reflecting the role of the Konstantinovskaya fortress during the First Defense of the city and during the Great Patriotic War, is open to the public.

During the final plenary session, Sergey Konovalov, Director of the Marine Hydrophysical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences noted that such conferences as The Seas of Russia contribute to the formation of the scientific community: “These conferences have another very important component. You not only share your results. Here, interactions among different scientific organizations and teams are discussed and built. You get to know each other, understand the scope of research and the level, at which these studies are carried out. At such conferences the scientific society of Russia is built. This is great and important”.
