Novel coronavirus infection was first found in China in December 2019. It spread widely both in China and all over the world including Russia. First cases with Russian citizens were registered in late February.

Governmental institutions of the RF take all measures against the disease communication. Mass event execution is restricted, and institutions establish special work schedules.

In view of the above, the MHI administration have made the following resolution.

Up to April 6, 2020, it is prohibited to hold in-person seminars, conferences, meetings and other events with more than 10 participants present at the same time. The partcipants should be seated at least two meters apart.

As a precaution, from March, 17 through April, 6 2020, researchers and employees of scientific and service departments aged over 70 (inclusive) to be transited to remote work, while transition of those aged over 60 to be agreed by the heads of the departments.

MHI employees, who arrived in Sevastopol from countries with adverse situation due to spread of a new coronavirus infection, should insure self-isolation at home for the 14-day period from the day of return to the Russian Federation (avoid going to work, minimize visits to public places).

MHI employees feeling sick and having signs of acute respiratory infection and other infectious diseases should immediately seek medical advice with public health facilities. In this case the employee transits to remote work (before drawing up a sick leave certificate, if needed) and informs their line manager and, wherever possible, the MHI HR department.
