The School consisted of two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part included lectures on the acquisition of data on the marine environment parameters with the help of various methods and devices that can be used to promote functioning of continuous analysis and forecasting systems of the World Ocean. In training sessions, students gained experience in collecting and integrating data of operational hydrometeorological and oceanographic observations, database management and information portals of marine monitoring services.
